Turkish auto parts exhibition Automechanika Istanbul is one of the Automechanika global series exhibitions hosted by Frankfurt exhibition company. Founded in 1995 and now 20 years old, Automechanika Istanbul is the most influential trade fair in automobile manufacturing, sales and maintenance in central Eurasia. Since 2005, the exhibition has been jointly organized by Frankfurt exhibition company and Hanover Istanbul branch. Last year, 1,282 exhibitors from nearly all over the world showed their latest products and technologies at the exhibition. This exhibition attracted 46,781 professional audiences, reflecting the strong strength of Turkish auto parts industry and the huge attraction of the regional auto parts market. The exhibitors are from Turkey, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Bulgaria, Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Tunisia, China and Greece. According to statistics, about 40% of exhibitors have signed orders with customers, and over 96% of exhibitors are satisfied with the exhibition and will continue to participate.

Turkey is one of 17 countries with more than one million cars in the world. At present, there are nearly 20 automobile manufacturers in Turkey, producing models of minibuses, buses, trucks, pickups, trailers and minibuses, etc. About 500,000 people are involved in the automobile industry.
